Tigger Warning: this episode has possible triggers throughout if you have experienced sexual assault. Even though I’m not a police officer, it was triggering to me due to my sexual assaults were by police officers who were protected. I didn’t know the term but was introduced to the “Blue Wall of Silence” at age 9. I didn’t know until recently that in some departments it didn’t apply to the female officers who have been sexually assaulted and or harassed by a co-worker.
